Rest In Peace

Many of you probably saw my facebook post about work be depressing.

My friend/co-worker Chelsea's mom had a heart attack and died unexpectedly. She's 18, she still lives with her dad, her mom was their main income. She has been so scared, and worried about what will happen next. She might have to drop out of college just so she can work more hours to provide for her family. Her dad is disabled, and can only make up to $700 a month.

Story #2,
A sophomore at my school (16) got hit by a car early last week. He was crossing the road at dusk the driver didn't have his lights on, and his mirror hit Nick square in the head. He was in critical condition for about 4 days but he was stable. Then, on Saturday he started getting worse, the pressure in his brain was so bad that his parents decided it was time to let him go. They took him off the medication, and he died in 20 min.

Why would I be telling you all this?
1. Pray. Pray for these families. Pray they will have a good holiday season through all this. Pray they will find God through this. Pray everything will work out for them. Pray they have the strength to move on with life.

2. Be grateful. Be grateful for all we have. Our moms, dads, siblings, friends. Be grateful for the time you get to spend with these people. Be grateful for life! The day this happened I saw SOOO many pregnant women come through my line at work. That was just like God reminding me "look new life!"

So to wrap things all up. Rest in Peace Nick Pender. Rest in Peace Mrs. Robin.
